You know what they say about summer vacations?
Parents can’t wait for it to start to finally get a break from planning, waking up early, homework, lunch boxes and all the other agonizing tasks they have to go through. Every. Single. Day.
But a couple of weeks down the road, when the kids are lying around bored on the couch, and after hearing for the 140,352,503rd time in a day how desperately bored they are, parents just can’t wait for the summer break to end!
Well, the good news is that it’s pretty close to end.
And this means that it’s about time for you to start planning for the upcoming school year with everything that your kids might need.
With this, I have put together a list of shops that you can check out, and which can help you save time from driving to the stores (unless your kids really insist on trying every backpack before they finally make up their minds!).
I’ve also included the offers that these shops are offering for the back-to-school occasion. Some of these offers might expire in a few days from now (so probably around when you’re reading this post), but I’ve kept them on my list because the shops are still worth considering even if their offers are not valid (note that some of them keep updating their websites with new offers).
So let’s get started, shall we?

My go-to Back-To-School online shopping companies
Discount School Supplies offers high quality offers at the lowest possible prices, with an extraordinary level of service. The website contains a wide selection of quality, safe products that contribute to better education.
Their back-to-school offer: Same day shipping
Which kid wouldn’t want to have a backpack or a lunch box adorned with their favorite Disney character?
I know mine does!
So don’t wait too long to check out their different back-to-school products.
Their offer: $14 backpacks and $10 lunch boxes (which is valid for a very short time).
Crayola is most famous for its classic crayons – but also its innovative art tools, crafting activities and creative toys. It’s one of my favorite go-to places to get all my kids crafts and school supplies.
Their special: Back to school supplies by grade
I personally love Claire’s because it’s a little paradise for young girls. Each time I pass one of their stores I take a quick glance to check if I’d find anything exciting for my daughter.
Their jewelry and accessories are good for teens, tweens and younger kids (and sometimes I even find stuff for myself too!), which is why I would definitely consider it for getting a girl’s school accessories.
Their back-to-school offer: Buy 3 and get 3 on almost everything
There are three sites that I’d like to suggest for getting clothing for kids:
- Gap: The store has launched a new back-to-school collection, and as always is very generous with its discounts
- Old Navy: The store is offering a generous discount of 50% on all kids and baby stuff!
- Under Armour: This is a great option for getting sportswear and backpacks for older kids and they have ongoing back-to-school sections where you can find all you need
- Sears: This store has something for everyone, and they also have a back-to-school section that you might want to consider to find what you need. Please note: They also have a collection of Disney products!
- Petit Bateau: This French brand has launched a new back-to-school section for younger kids. It’s most famous for its stripes (and I happen to be a stripe addict), so make sure to look for them while shopping!
I hope this helps you in wrapping up your back-to-school preparations. It’s always a bit of a slog but it certainly helps if you can get some good deals and make some useful purchases. If you know of any additional stores that could be interesting for parents or worth considering, drop me a note in the comments section below!
