Anyone who lives in a big, crowded city would understand the urge to escape to a more secluded place.
When my friend called to say that she was in Pattaya, I grabbed the chance to escape from busy Bangkok, to spend a couple of days in a quieter place, with my two year old. This makes it our second getaway to Pattaya in a month. Its closeness to Bangkok makes it very convenient to visit when we need a break from the traffic and noise.
This time, for our very short break (one night), we opted for a furnished-apartment style of accommodation, and Amari Nova Suites Pattaya was our choice. As we didn’t plan to spend much time at the hotel, it answered our needs perfectly: it offered a separate living room, a kitchenette, and a cozy bedroom large enough to fit a family of three. The room was excellent, with a five star hotel service where everything was nicely set-up.
Breakfast is served on the ground floor next to the reception and like expected, the choice of food was generous and (the best way for me to describe it) toddler friendly.
Other than the location of the hotel not being on the beach, and a bit secluded from the center, (which makes it harder to find a taxi), my overall experience was positive as it all comes down to what we’re looking for when booking a hotel. My objective was to find a place cozy enough for a toddler to move around, and where I could benefit from a small kitchen to heat the food that I brought along for her. Pattaya offers many interesting attractions for kids to visit, and if the objective of a family is not to spend the day by the beach, then Amari Nova Suites is the place for them (especially when they have their own car).
The hotel also offers a very large pool on the rooftop. What I particularly loved about it is that the area is secluded enough to make it safe for young kids, the pool is large enough for parents who like to swim and finally, it is conveniently located next to the gym.

As I said before, a picture is worth a thousand words, so I leave you now with nine pictures to build your own impression of the hotel.
